Bartender / Server

Our experimental, small-batch brewery and tasting room in Newark, Delaware has an opening for a part-time server/ bartender. We are searching for a candidate who has a strong passion for craft beer and a commitment to quality and world-class customer service. It’s a tough but totally rad gig.

HOURS
This position requires availability on weekends (and there will be opportunities for additional days).

Example shifts: Saturday 11:30am-5pm, Sunday 4pm-8pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be an ambassador of the Autumn Arch Beer Project brand and an advocate of our beers

  • Serving beer and other beverages, maintaining glassware, and handling retail sales

  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Autumn Arch beer styles and general knowledge of the brewing process

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment for customers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with staff and customers

  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining strong attention to detail

  • Ability to move kegs, lift up to 55lbs, operate a hand cart, and remain on your feet for several hours

  • Possess knowledge of and deep interest in craft beer

  • Ability to work flexible hours on weekends

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Additional availability during some weekday daytime hours
